LeBron chose Drazen!

When he died in 1993, he was just 9 years old. Despite that LeBron James, knows very well the accomplishments of the late Drazen Petrovic, whom he considers the best European of all time! “I liked his ability to shoot the ball, he was very athletic in his ability to shoot the ball and he was not afraid”. That’s how Le Bron “portrayed” Drazen when he was asked by Greek station OTE TV.

Of course everybody was surprised by the answer of King James, who initially “picked” Dirk Nowitzki, but then changed his mind. Watch the video in order to understand his choice. Eurohoops was in Houston for the All Star Weekend which the West won 143-138 over East, but this answer was the biggest highlight, as far as we are concerned.

I believe Nick Galis was the best ever non-Americal basketball player. Just watch some Aris Thessaloniki or Greek National Team games at YouTube.. He was capable of scoring 40 & 50 pts in every game, assisting the ball and getting whole team on his shoulders.. Unfortunately, he is not as popular as Drazen, Sabas, Kukoc or Dirk cause he never played in the NBA.. That's a pitty cause we ve all missed a great scorer and basketball legend from revealing and even developing his talent in a more demanding environment..

Respect for D.Nowitzky and everything he has achieved in his career but Drazen Petrovic is by far the best player of all time behind M.Jordan. I'm 39 years old and I remember what Drazen was capable of.People who know Petrovic only from youtube films don't know nothing really. He was a shooting machine.How many of you remember him terrorising Zalgiris in the finals of European championships. I remember him once scoring 62 points in the final of the European cup.No man will ever do that again,believe me.

Best European player ever is between Nikos Galis and Drazen Petrovic. It can only be one of those two as the correct choice. At least at the current time.
