A brilliant offensive output led Crvena Zvezda to the 93 – 74 victory over Mega Leks in the ABA League second Final. Now the score in the series is 2-0 and Zvezda has an obvious huge advantage to win the title and make the repeat.

The hosts worked their game close to perfection as is evident by the 31 (!) assists with which they finished the match. Marko Simonovic was the main executioner of his team’s plans, scoring 16 points with 4/8 three-pointers, while Stefan Jovic once again delivered some lessons in play-making with 9 assists to go with his 9 points.

Mega Leks did way too many turnovers for a game of such importance, resulting in a negative assists/TO ratio (13/17) while being unable to hold back its opponents’ raging attacking waves.

The trio of Nikola Ivanovic (22 points, 5 assists), Rade Zagorac (16 points, 6 rebounds) and Danilo Nikolic (16 points, 7 rebounds) was not enough and their team was truly competitive only for the first quarter.

After the second period, Crvena Zvezda built a double-digit lead and never allowed its Mega Leks to become truly threatening, being always one step ahead in every aspect of the game.
