After spending the majority of the previous season with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Zan Tabak is returning to Spain, this time as the new head coach of Sevilla, with which he signed a one-year deal. A team he is quite familiar since he sat at its bench, as an assistant to Juan Plaza from 2009 to 2011.
The Croatian coach has been greatly experienced in Liga Endesa, making his first steps in the field as assistant in Real Madrid and then taking the helm of Baskonia and Fuenlabrada.
He was assistant to Pablo Laso during Real Madrid‘s… fantastic quadruple crown (Euroleague, Liga Endesa title, Copa Del Rey Supercup) 2014/2015 season.
