On 16 and 17 of September, the “Diamonds Are Forever” tournament is going to take place in the OAKA arena, with the partcipation of CSKA Moscow, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Barcelona and of course, Panathinaikos, in honor of Dimitris Diamantidis, the Greens’ long time captain and Euroleague legend.

On 16 and 17 of September, Panathinaikos will organize the “Diamonds Are Forever” tournament to honor Dimitris Diamantidis, the Greens’ long time captain and Euroleague legend. Four of the most historic Euroleague teams, CSKA Moscow, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Barcelona and of course, Panathinaikos will participate in the games that are going to take place in OAKA Arena in Athens.

Panathinaikos BC, with full respect to its huge and brilliant history, will continue to honoring the biggest athletes of the team.

As part of the institution «Honouring Our Legacy», adopted in September 2015 with the award of the top starting five of the last 25 years of the team, Panathinaikos BC announces the organization of the tournament «Diamonds Are Forever» to honor the historic leader of the team, Dimitris Diamantidis, who has decided to retire from the courts.

On 16 and 17 September will attend to OAKA three of the most historic teams of Europe, CSKA Moscow, Maccabi Fox and Barcelona Lassa, together with Panathinaikos, will take part in a great event.

As part of the tournament «Diamonds Are Forever» the jersey with the number 13, will get her position on the roof of the Olympic Stadium.

On 16 and 17 September, all roads lead to the Stadium!

The CEO Panathinaikos, Panagiotis Triantopoulos said: “Panathinaikos promises that the organization of tournament “Diamonds Are Forever” will be worthy of the huge name and history of Panathinaikos and Dimitris Diamantidis.
