Will Hatcher scored 23 points, dished out 4 assists and hit the game-winner jumper with two seconds remaining leading Partizan to a 74 – 73 victory over Cedevita for the ABA League best-of-three semifinal series.
Despite being down 70 – 65 with 50 seconds left, Cedevita managed to first tie the score 70 – 70 and then go ahead 72 – 73 thanks to eight consecutive points by a sizzling Ryan Boatright, who finished with 26 in total. But Hatcher had the last laugh, keeping his team alive in the semifinals battle.
Apart from the American guard, Stefan Bircevic posted a double-double of 18 points/11 rebounds for the winning squad. Miro Bilan also registered a double-double from Cedevita’s side, with 16 points/10 rebounds.
