Ilias Zouros, head coach of Buducnost Voli, announced Marcus Williams’ departure from the team during a press conference.
“Marcus Williams is no longer a member of our team. This is a decision that we have reached all together, the entire team. With his attitude on the court during the games, as well as practices, Marcus failed to show enough respect towards the club, the jersey, players… towards all,” was what Zouros stated about the player.
Marcus Williams played 27 games in the ABA League this season, averaging 10.3 points, 6.1 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game.
