An extremely dominant first half was more than enough to pace Crvena Zvezda towards their second victory in the ABA League Finals against Cedevita

With Charles Jenkins once again leading the charge (16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists), Crvena Zvezda is one win away from its third consecutive ABA League title after defeating Cedevita 84 – 73 in the second Final, far more easily than what the final score shows.

In total contrast with the first match, the defending champs absolutely controlled this game right from the start and held a 57 – 34 lead at the end of the first half. The Croatian team balanced things out in the third period and even outscored its opponents 12 – 23 in the fourth.

But their halftime deficit was way to big for them to fully recover and the injury of Ryan Boatright, who hurt his hamstring in the third period, didn’t allow them to fight at full strength.

Miro Bilan scored 12 points and Rashad James 11 for Cedevita that will host the next two games in Zagreb with the purpose of taking the series back to Belgrade.

For Crvena Zvezda, Nate Wolters once again had a fine game with 14 points plus 5 assists while Nemanja Dangubic scored 12.
