Gran Canaria defended its homecourt and bounced back from the loss to Baskonia in the opening game of the series.

Gran Canaria prevailed over Baskonia with 94-79 and evened the series to 1-1.

Royce O’Neile was the leading scorer for the winners, tapping 20 points, as Eulis Baez followed with 18.

For Baskonia, Shane Larkin finished with 17 points, while Tornike Shengelia added 12.

The hosts stormed in the first period and got a 27-17 lead at 10′, which was later expanded to 49-33 at halftime. The Canaria side had established its pace and Baskonia couldn’t do much to turn the tables in the second half, even though the visitors trimmed to 10 points in the final period.
