Ibon Navarro was the one that initially appeared as the favorite to fill the head coach position of Basket Zaragoza, the spot will go to Jose Ramon Cuspinera.
According to Eurohoops sources, while the deal with Navarro seemed almost certain, there has been a complete turn of events and Cuspinera is the one that will manage the helm of Zaragoza.
47-year-old Cuspinera was head coach of Fuenlabrada from 2015 until the end of this season. He led the team to the 2016 Liga Endesa playoffs and to the 2016/2017 EuroCup Top 16.
UPDATE: The deal with the coach was announced and confirmed by the club on the 16th of June.
