The General Assembly of the ACB approved the new economic conditions that clubs have to fulfill in order to compete in Liga Endesa.

The committee of the clubs negotiated these conditions during the previous week during a meeting the Spanish Basketball Federation and the Superior Sports Council.

When it comes to the cost of participating in the league, each club has to pay the sum of €1,616,084, which can be settled in a span of four seasons.

The minimum budget for each team playing in the league during 2017/2018 must be € 2,000,000.

San Sebastian and Miraflores, the two teams that were promoted from LEB Oro (second division) must meet these requirements until July 15 in order to join next season’s Liga Endesa.
