“There should be solutions in order to protect basketball, not just for commercial reasons. The world of basketball should be united in order to fight against its enemies”, says Papadopoulos, who’s concerned with the current events.

“Now all the young players are interested in having an NBA-out option in their contracts. European basketball is being persecuted and whoever doesn’t see this, has no idea about it”, he mentions, while he’s against this ongoing theme.

“The decision-makers only care about their own personal advantage. I’m in this field for 25 years and the changes sadden me. Someone has to step up and fight off the backfire. Soon, European basketball will be considered low-class”, he concluded.
