Brose Bamberg went all guns blazing in the second half against Ludwigsburg winning 85 – 78 and filling the second spot the German Cup Final where Bayern Munich awaits them.
Daniel Theis and Fabien Causeur scored 19 points, Nicolo Melli added 10, 7 rebounds and 4 assists while Nikos Zisis had 7 plus 5 assists as Bamberg threw 49 on its opponents after halftime.
Ludwigsburg’s answer arrived a bit too late since Bamberg was leading 61 – 78 with 4:36 to go, a margin good enough to set Trinchieri’s team on the path of victory.
Drew Crawford finished with 17 points and 8 rebounds with Tekele Cotton scoring 13.
