The first German League final between Brose Bamberg and EWE Oldenburg was practically a monologue for the defending champs.

With five players scoring in double figures, Brose Bamberg blew away EWE Oldenburg 96 – 60 and made the 1-0 in the German League Finals best-of-three series.

The Bavarians made their point early on since they led 24 – 6 at the end of the first quarter and then simply preserved or increased that advantage per their appetites.

Maodo Lo scored 17 points on 6/6 from the field, Darius Miller added 14, and Fabien Causeur, Nikos Zisis with Leon Radosevic pitched in 10 points apiece.

For the disappointing Oldenburg, Frantz Massenat dropped 13 points,  Brian Qvale 12 and Ricky Paulding 10.
