Putting a dominant performance in the first half and simply managing their lead in the second, Brose Bamberg won Game 2 of the German League Finals vs EWE Oldenburg and marches towards the three-peat.

The defending champions are one step away from their third consecutive German League title following their 88 – 76 road victory over Oldenburg.

Brose Bamberg stormed into the match finishing the first period ahead 16 – 24 and closing the second with exactly the same score, to go to the  locker room with a 16-point halftime lead.

The hosts couldn’t recover and afterwards with coach Trinchieri’s players preserving their advantage rather comfortably.

Fabien Causeur scored 21 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, Nicolo Melli added 18 points plus 6 boards while Janis Strelnieks finished with 14 points and Darius Miller with 12 for the Bavarians.

Brian Qvale (19 points) and Ricky Paulding (18 points) were top scorers for Oldenburg.
