The Belgian Basketball Federation announced the 24 players that will compile the preliminary team ahead of the Eurobasket 2017

National team head coach Eddy Casteels picked the following players for the first call of the preparation period before the tournament. Belgium will play in Group D for the preliminary round facing Serbia, Turkey, Russia, Latvia and Great Britain.

Group D games will be hosted in Istanbul. The best four teams from each Group will advance to the knockout stage.
