Unicaja got the 79-71 win over Valencia thanks to a scoring crescento by Jamar Smith who had 16 points in 15 minutes and gave a 64-48 lead to the hosts, just before the end of the third period.

The American sharp shooter got the job done and he finished the game with a total of 20 points, Alen Omic added 12 points along with 10 rebounds and it remains to be seen if Unicaja can also do it on the road on Game 3 (5th of April).

The best Valencia could do was cut the lead to seven (78-71) in the last minute, but it was too late. Guillem Vives with 14 points was the top scorer of the losing side
