Unics Kazan officially announced the addition of American shooting guard Trent Lockett on a 1+1 deal.
Lockett comes from Real Betis with which he averaged 11.5 points per game in the Spanish League.
The 26-year-old player is the first transfer made by the Russian club following coach Dimitris Priftis’ arrival.
Lockett has spent the majority of his professional career in Europe, having played for Braunschweig, and Trento before joining Real Betis last season. He has EuroCup experience, being part of Trento’s semifinal run in 2015/2016 with 11.3 points plus 3.5 rebounds per game.
