Darussafaka and Cedevita with blow out wins – Group A Recap

With their offense clicking tonight, Darussafaka scored 100 points on Diaw’s Levallois and remained undefeated in Group A with a 6-0 record while Cedevita easily defeated Turin on the road.

On Day 6 of the 7Days Eurocup competition, Unics Kazan (vs Morabanc Andorra), Darussafaka Istanbul (vs Levallois Metropolitans) and Cedevita Zagreb (vs Fiat Turin) enjoyed wins.

In the first game of the day, Unics defeated 89-80 Andorra and improved its record to 4-2 while the visitors slipped to 1-5. In the first half the home team enjoyed a double-digit lead and controlled the game, but in the fourth quarter, the Spanish side tried to come back as they cut the lead to single-digits but fell short. Jamar Smith finished with 21 points for the winners.

In Turkey, Darussafaka crushed Levallois 100-67 as their offense was clicking on all cylinders scoring 100 (!) points. Since the first quarter, they had the upper hand in the game. Scottie Wilbekin finished with 20 points. For Levallois, Boris Diaw was the only bright side finishing with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Finally, in Italy and the last game of the day, Cedevita defeated 65-87 Turin easily on the road. The first half ended 31-53 with the visitors having a 22-point (!) lead and keeping this double-digit lead until the final buzzer. Kevin Murphy finished with 24 points for the winners.
