That’s the end of the longest ever streak of playoffs appearances in the EuroLeague, as the Catalans are having their worst season in recent history.
As the numbers prove, Barcelona’s offense was the worst ever in the club’s EuroLeague history. With that being said, it’s also a fact that Barcelona was hitten hard by injury woes, as there’s virtually no key player on the team who was not injured and missed games during the season.
The big question now is how Barcelona will react in Liga Endesa, specially after the end of EuroLeague’s regular season and what’s the future of the project started last summer under coach Giorgos Bartzokas.
Still it seems more than strange than for the first time for more than a decade the playoffs will not include the Catalans.
