After Darussafaka’s loss to CSKA Moscow, three teams already checked their playoffs tickets. Fenerbahce (17-10), Panathinaikos (16-11) and Baskonia (16-11) mathematically advanced to the next round, next to Real Madrid, CSKA Moscow and Olympiacos.
If Crvena Zvezda (15-11) loses to Olympiacos at Belgrade tonight, the Serbian team will have to fight until the end for the playoffs, with their final match being against Darussafaka in Istanbul.
So, in other words, three teams will be competing for two spots: Anadolu Efes (15-12), Darussafaka (13-14) and Zvezda, while in theory Zalgiris Kaunas (12-15) has also mathematical hopes of advancing.
