The end was bitter for EA7 Emporio Armani Milan as Unics Kazan got the road win in Italy and the “Red Shoes” finished the season tied with the Russians but in the last spot of the standings.

The final score was 91-68 as the hosts simply stopped playing in the second half and thanks to a 29-10 partial score in the third quarter, Unics made things easy.

Latavious Williams with 20 points and 12 rebounds led the charge for the Russians who got 13 points from Keith Langford and a full stats line from Quino Colom (12 p. 5 r. 6 as.). Milan was leading by three at half time (39-36) but the story was quite different in the last 20 minutes of the game.

Playing with a short rotation of nine players, the hosts just wanted to end a bad season for them and David Pascolo with 18 points was their top scorer. The two teams are tied with a 8-22 record in the last spot of final standings, but Unics has the tie breaking advantage with two wins.
