Olympiacos is travelling to Istanbul to face Anadolu Efes and try to reclaim the home court advantage lost in Game 2, with Giorgos Printezis trusting his teams capabilities to win at least one game in “Abdi Ipekci”

Not long before the plane carrying Olympiacos too Istanbul took off, Giorgos Printezis discussed the upcoming matches between the Reds and Anadolu Efes and the need of his squad to prove which is the better team, by getting the ticket to the Final Four.

“This is a series of games. It doesn’t matter who the opponent is,” said Printezis. “These games are always very difficult. Theoretically, it’s a plus to have the advantage and play the first two games on your home court. But the real advantage is having the fifth match at home. That’s the advantage. In general, when you play two games in two days it’s hard to win them both. We have found the small details that cost us defeat in Game 2 and I believe we’ll be better.”

The power forward of Olympiacos also added: “Even if we had done the 2 – 0, we’d go there to win. We’d want at least one more victory in order to avoid a Game 5. It’s not easy. We knew that. Efes is a talented team that plays very well at home, but in general, we are a better team and we deserve to qualify. But we must prove that on court. Talking and what you’ve done in the season so far aren’t enough.”
