The President of Turkey acknowledged the fact that Fenerbahce‘s success was due to cooperation and the help of Serbians and Greeks, as a way to communicate that cooperation is also needed when it comes to the Black Sea.

Addressing the Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Erdogan stated: “Fenerbahce has a Serbian coach and two of its best players are Serbian”, as the former replied that it was a “mutual success”, referring to the Euroleague title, as mentioned on CNN Turk.

Erdogan then next addressed the President of Greece, Prokopis Pavlopoulos: “My dear friend, don’t be sad, because they have Kostas Sloukas, he is also Greek and he plays in Fenerbahce. With a good solidarity, Fenerbahçe became the European champion. I thank you very much for that. We are proud.”
