Speaking in Fenerbahce‘s economic congress, Yildirim explained the financial situation of the basketball section and the details of the deal which is expected to be a sponsorship of 45 million euros in total for the next three seasons.
According to Yildirim: “We are ready to make a 3-year deal with Dogus Group and at this point only the signatures are missing. This agreement will cover half of our bugdet which is 30 million euros annually. This year we had total revenues of 12 million euros and a deficit of 18 millions”.
According to those numbers Dogus will give 15 million euros to Fenerbahce yearly and of course a 45 million euros sponsorship deal is the biggest ever in the history of European basketball.
