The goal of Panathinaikos is to preserve its core ahead of the upcoming season, something that was agreed by both head coach Xavi Pascual and club owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos.

And Kennny Gabriel’s name is included in next day’s plan.  And according to Eurohoops sources, the Greens have made an offer to the 28-year-old American forward to remain an OAKA resident.

Gabriel was signed last November in order to fill a vacant spot in the roster after the injury of James Gist. His performances have been satisfactory to Pascual, especially considering the fact that he had some of his best games in the decisive matches against Olympiacos for both the Greek Cup and the Greek League.

The 2017 Greek League and Cup champions wait for the player’s answer in order to move forward with the plan for the next season. Meanwhile, Gabriel has also attracted the interest of other teams and one of them is Besiktas, according to Turkish Ajan Spor. Coach Ufuk Sarica is more than acquainted with Gabriel from their Pinar Karsiyaka days when they both won the 2015 Turkish League.
