The 28-year-old center will be the next transfer of Olympiacos since he has agreed to a three-year deal (1+1+1) and will become the third center in the rotation of the team during the upcoming season.

The official announcement is expected during the week.

Olympiacos head coach GIannis Sfairopoulos wanted to complete the trio of centers in his team (alongside Khem Birch and Nikola Miloutinov) and found the solution in the face of the international Greek player who comes from an excellent season in the jersey of Iberostar Tenerife.

With Tenerife, Bogris won the Basketball Champions League averaging 8.6 points and 3.7 rebounds while being named in the competition’s “Star Lineup”. In the Spanish League, he averaged 7.6 points plus 3.9 rebounds per game.

Valencia head coach Txus Vidorreta, who coached Bogris last year in Tenerife, wanted to bring him on board in his new team but Bogris’s desire was to wear the “Red and White” jersey of Olympiacos and return to Greece after three years.
