Khimki couldn’t get Chris Singleton from Panathinaikos, however they have added the forward they needed by signing Malcolm Thomas.

The 28 years old player will compete in Europe for the second time in his career after playing back in the 2012-13 season for Maccabi Tel Aviv.

He has also played for the San Antonio Spurs, the Golden State Warriors, the Utah Jazz, the Philadelphia Sixers and last year he played in China. He arrives from Jilin Northeast Tigers, where he averaged 20 points and a competition-best 16.4 rebounds in 37 Chinese League games last season

After this addition Khimki has already six non Russian players in its roster for the upcoming season and probably will not persue any more Chris Singleton who has a contract for next season with Panathinaikos, but declined a lucrative extension with the Greens.
