All-EuroLeague guard Brad Wanamaker is finalizing a one-year deal with Turkish continental champion Fenerbahce, according to Eurohoops sources.

The contract it’s expected to be signed until the end of the week, sources also tell Eurohoops.

This development can be considered a last-second twist since the American combo guard recently decided to remain with David Blatt’s Darussafaka. But, ultimately, he will become a player of Fenerbahce.

Fener president Aziz Yildirim had previously discussed the potential signing of Wanamaker, a “cherry on top” transfer according to the club’s management.

During the previous season, the 28-year-old guard averaged 16.7 points, 4.6 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game in EuroLeague, leading Dacka to the competition’s playoffs for the first time in the history of the franchise while earning All-Second Team honors.
