With Quincy Miller showing strong glimpses of his scoring prowess Brose Bamberg defeated Crailsheim Merlins in its first preparation test ahead of the new season

Quincy Miller dropped 18 points, August Rubit added 17 and Brose Bamberg downed German second division club Crailsheim Merlins 103 – 83.

The defending German champions played without EuroBasket players like Daniel Hackett and also missed Luka Mitrovic and Ricky Hickman and Louis Olinde who were out due to an illness. Τhey practically finished the game at halftime thanks to a 54 – 37 lead.

Elias Harris pitched in 16 points and Bryce Taylor 10.
