46-year-old Nicola will join fellow Argentinean head coach Pablo Prigioni in Baskonia for the upcoming season, after ending his career with the club in 2007, the team announced Friday.
He spent the previous season on the side of Simone Pianigiani in Hapoel Jerusalem, while in the past he has coached Lietuvos Rytas and Murcia (both as a head coach and an assistant in the latter).
