The injury that kept Kim Tillie out of action in the first game of the Turkish Airlines season against Baskonia proved to be more serious than expected.

The French forward will need surgery and he will stay out of action at least for the next four months. It’s a huge blow for Olympiacos. Tillie was a key member of the team.

The results of the medical examinations showed that the player is suffering from a “detached tendon of the long adductor muscle”.

The player was injured when he tried to dunk in the warm-up before the game against Baskonia. The worst case scenario is staying out of action for six months. His minutes can be taken by Dimitris Agravanis, however, Olympiacos may have to add a new player.
