The calls of one referee in the Fenerbahce – Olympiacos weren’t made with the same criteria, according to Zeljko Obradovic.

Following Fenerbahce’s defeat to Olympiacos, Zeljko Obradovic expressed his complaints about the officiating and the approach of one referee in particular, without clarifying who he was talking about specifically.

“It’s tough to understand some things. All decisions in the game involved the same referee. Very easy to call us with offensive fouls. And very easy to call them (Olympiacos) with nothing. There were some obvious fouls to be called for us, but there were no calls. I believe this is not fair. We lost one game until now because of the decisions of the referees. And I believe that this is not correct,” said Obradovic in the post-game presser.

“Congratulations to our people and their support. Of course to our opponent who had victory. And to my players for everything they tried to do tonight.”

The Serbian coach began his comments saying that: “We expected a tough game. It was a more or less similar game with the ones we had lost until now. Our main problem was turnovers. This killed our game, together with their (Olympiacos) offensive rebounds. You watched two different parts of the game.”

“We found a way to come back in the game. And I must say that the players tried to do everything in order to play an overtime,” he added.
