Fenerbahce Dogus’ coach explained: “I am satisfied with the way we played. In the first 16 minutes of the first half, we had an excellent game. And it’s hard for me to understand how you can let your opponent come back into the game and we had just one team foul. For me this is impossible. They came back, tactically they are very, very good”.

However, Obradovic would like his team to finish the job and not allow CSKA Moscow to go to overtime: “We could have won the game and finish it the right way, things could have been really easy. But this is basketball, terrible things happened and in overtime finally, my player was over there to tip the ball and the referees checked his basket. We won the leader of EuroLeague, that will help the confidence of my team and we will continue to play like we did in the first half”.

From his side, coach Dimitris Itoudis admitted: “Maybe we respected too much an opponent like the champions. The game was decided on a jumper and a tip. I know Zeljko and he knows me as a person. We know also very well our teams. We are still at the start of the season. We have to stay consistent. It was a game that easily could have a different outcome”.
