Xavi Pascual talked about his former player and Barcelona legend during Panathinaikos‘ pre-game press conference for the game against Real Madrid on Friday.
November 23 marks a very special date for the Spanish player, as today he will celebrate two decades since his debut with Barcelona.
Pascual, who’s spent many years alongside the player shared his thoughts on Navarro’s evolvement through the years, as well as his quality: “He has a great quality, everybody knows that. As a person, he is incredible and all the years we spent together were great”.
The experienced coach considers Navarro to be his best player ever: “For me, he’s the best player I’ve ever coached. For someone to be part of a team like Barcelona for 20 years is an amazing record. He is very important in the team’s history. It was truly an honor to have worked with him.”
