Once more Efes was beaten in a close game and Perasovic didn’t hide the fact that he expected more from his team.

As he said: “It’s a very tough loss for us. Is the third home game in which we almost had the win, but we lost it. We had an eight points advantage three minutes before the end, but we couldn’t keep it. After the third quarter, when we played much better, we had a good rhythm until the last three minutes.  We stopped playing fast, we couldn’t score in the last three minutes, that was the problem“.

On the contrary, coach Pedro Martinez of Baskonia was content by the way his players got the win and also the battle of the rebounds: “We won a tight game in which both teams could have prevailed. Efes is the best team in offensive rebounds, they have great players, however, the key is that we control the boards. That was very important especially in the last quarter”.
