Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens managed to defeat Olimpia Milano at home, in a physical game which included the ejection of Jordan Theodore and coach Simone Pianigiani stated that luck is the main issue of his team.

As he explained: “We played the game. For us, I think we are very unlucky this season in the EuroLeague. We play at the same level, with many top teams but have many problems with injuries etc. We are in trouble but we played well, the same level as Pana. This is something good for us in this court where no one can easily win here. The experience is the difference at this level. I lost my point guard 15 minutes before the end, and this experience is the difference. In this situation, they fought so I’m not going to blame my players.”

When asked about the missing players: “Until now we have problems, tonight we played without our point guard. Panathinaikos has many weapons, and it is not enough for us. I can tell you that every Sunday in our league is difficult. We want to compete in Italy, the Super Cup, and every other competition and we now have a problem to practice five on five.”
