EuroLeague Basketball imposed a fine on CSKA Moscow head coach Dimitris Itoudis regarding the comments he made on the officiating of the game between his team and Valencia.
Per EuroLeague Basketball:
“Mr Dimitris Itoudis, head coach of CSKA Moscow, (sanctioned) with a fine of €500 for failing to comply with the order and instructions of the officiating crew on the occasion of its away game against Valencia Basket, under Article 27.2.c) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.”
Following the loss of CSKA to Valencia, Itoudis heavily criticized his ejection and stated that the club will make an official protest to EuroLeague regarding the level of the officiating.
