After today’s win for Unics Kazan, which translated also to a ticket to Euroleague, only one spot is left open for next season’s Euroleague.

The 11 clubs that currently possess A licences in the Euroleague – Anadolu Efes Istanbul, CSKA Moscow, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, FC Barcelona Lassa, Fenerbahce Istanbul, Laboral Kutxa Vitoria Gasteiz, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, Olympiacos Piraeus, Panathinaikos Athens, Real Madrid and Zalgiris Kaunas – are well known, Unics Kazan got a B license as – at least – VTB finalist, Crvena Zvezda also qualified as Adriatic League champion, Galatasaray got a spot after winning the Eurocup and Dogus Darussafaka will get a wildcard.

That’s a total of 15 teams. The 16th participant in the 2016-17 competition is going to be, as Euroleague has announced, the German BEKO BBL champ.
