Colton Iverson and Karsiyaka have parted ways and the player will join Maccabi. Eurohoops reported the Israeli team’s interest in Iverson a few days prior.
While Colton Iverson had an active contract with Karsiyaka for next season, the club was interested in either releasing or selling the player. The main reason was Iverson’s $500.000 deal per season, more than what Karsiyaka could afford.
The Israeli club has showed interest in the player from early this summer in its quest to boost the team.
Iverson averaged 9.9 points and 4.8 rebounds in 9 Euroleague games last season with Karsiyaka.
