Earl Rowland scored 11 out of his 16 points in the last 3 minutes and Alexey Shved added 28 as Khimki Moscow outplayed Ratiopharm Ulm down the stretch taking a 95 – 90 road victory.

This was the second victory in three games for Khimki in the Group F of the EuroCup Top 16 while Ulm remains winless, despite the efforts of Raymar Morgan with 22 points and DaSean Butler’s 20.

The German squad held a 5 point advantage, 81 – 76 with four minutes left in the match but Rowland’s action completely tipped the scales to their favor. He first send the dime to Shved for a three-pointer and then scored multiple baskets to lead his team through a 2 – 13 partial score that made it 83 – 89 with 1:25 to go.

Robbie Hummel finished the job for Khimki against an Ulm that looked out of juice. Coach Leibenath’s players had already made particularly large effort to balance the game after a 15 – 27 start by their opponents, scoring 34 in the second quarter to lead 49 – 48 at halftime. Yet fell short in the final lap.
