Has finally Anthony Bennett found the club that can be the launch platform for his basketball career? It’s a big question, however his 16 points game was a good sign.
The former NBA draft no1 pick spoke about his current state in the press conference after the game and the trust that he is getting from 8 times EuroLeague winners coach Zeljko Obradovic: “It was a good game. I’m still in a learning process. I have great teammates and coaching stuff. They are all supporting me. I’m trying to do my job on the court. Having the trust of my coach, I tried to do what I supposed to do on both side of the floor. I’m still learning our sets at practices”.
Bennett also thanked Fenerbahce fans for their support: “Our fans have incredible energy. They are giving us a huge boost. I’m really thankful for the love that they showed me. They make me feel like I am part of a family.”
