In the retake of Friday’s clash between Baskonia and Barcelona, the latter prevailed 84-92.

Georgios Bartzokas’ team showed signs of energy and the spirit to fight in order to make up for the tough home loss from Baskonia in Euroleague and they managed to grab a positive result on the road.

Ante Tomic scored 21 points and was the leader for the winners, while Tyrese Rice finished the game with 17 points and 8 assists.

For Baskonia, Johannes Voigtmann and Shane Larkin shared 16 points each.

The hosts were up 29-25 midway through the second period, yet Barcelona evened with Justin Doellman (15 points), at 31 points and even surpassed and led 35-41 at halftime. From that point on, the visitors never lost the lead of the game and with a convincing performance in the third quarter, they caused trouble to Baskonia’s defense.

Voigtmann reduced the deficit to 10 points for the hosts (71-81 at 36′),
