Already with a quarterfinals ticket in its pocket, undefeated Valencia Basket (5-0) took down Cedevita Zagreb (1-4) 71-60. If Unicaja wins against Alba Berlin on Wednesday, Cedevita will be officially eliminated from the next phase.

Pierre Oriola led Pablo Martinez’s team to its fifth straight victory in the Top 16 with 13 points and 5 rebounds in just 9 minutes, while Bojan Dubljevic scored 8 and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Though the visitors had the lead in the opening quarter, Valencia bounced back in the second and managed to keep a short 35-34 head at halftime.

The Spanish team controlled the game better in the third period and even expanded to 8 points at 27′, while in the final one, the deficit rose to double digits for the first time in the game 71-57.
