The 29-year-old guard, who helped the team finish strong and clinch fourth in its group to stay alive in the competition, played a crucial road for the Northern Greek team on Wednesday night, leading it to an 82-78 triumph in the second leg of its Play-Off Qualifier tie in Belgrade against Partizan.

That performance, following McFadden’s scintillating 20-point effort in the opening leg that Partizan won, 76-74, has led to the 1.88m guard being named MVP of the Play-Off Qualifiers.

McFadden hit 7 of his first 9 3-pointers against Partizan in the second leg and finished with 7 of 10. He was a combined 10 of 17 from long range in the tie.

He walked off the court in Belgrade with 7 assists and 3 steals. After an efficiency rating of +17 in the first game, PAOK’s game-winner had a +31 in Serbia.
