Banvit smashed Uman Reyer Venezia 90-62 at home revenging for a tough triple-overtime loss on Day 1. The Turkish team moved up to a 4-4 record after 8 weeks of action.

The game’s protagonist was no other than Banvit’s Andy Rautins who fell one assist short of a triple-double, finishing with 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 assists in just 26 minutes.

Banvit showed their intentions early in the game as they opened the match with a 7-0 run. The visiting squad quickly bounced back to win the first quarter 17-15.

In the second quarter, teams were exchanging the leads as the results were tied at 36-36 after the first halftime.

After that, Banvit was in full control as the visitors completely disappeared from the court.

The Key: The second half performance by Banvit was an outstanding as they completely destroyed Venezia. Banvit scored 54 in the second half allowing Venezia to score only 26.

The Star:  Andy Rautins without a doubt, since he almost achieved the triple-double feat. Angelo Caloiaro helped him with 22 points thanks to a great shooting night (5/5 for one, 7/9 for two, 1/2 for three).

Paul Biligha had 15 for Venezia, but that didn’t do much for the Italians.

With this loss, Venezia is now on a 5-3 record.
