As sports.walla.co.it published yesterday, the Basketball Association of Israel has been in contact with Maccabi in order to release Cohen, who is considered a key player in Oded Kattash’s squad, and he is expected to be with the team.
The other Maccabi players are expected to travel to Barcelona and may be in the squad for the second game of the Qualifiers against Greece on November 27.
The team is expected to publish the final training team today, and Lior Eliyahu of Hapoel Jerusalem will not be included, as he asked to be released.
