Olympiacos struggled against Kolossos, but grabbed its 16th victory of the season in the Greek league.

Olympiacos beat Kolossos in Rhodes 70-59 and with this win the Reds are tied to a 16-1 record with Panathinaikos.

Kostas Papanikolaou was the leading scorer with 13 points, Giorgos Printezis and Khem Birch followed with 11, while Matt Lojeski scored 10.

The hosting team was able to take control of the game in the first period, leading 18-16 after 10′ and kept tying the score in the second one. The two teams went to the lockers with both having scored 35 points, yet with the hosts managing the pace of the game.

Olympiacos reacted in the third quarter, with Birch and Printezis signaling the Reds’ outbreak. After 30 minutes, Giannis Sfairopoulos’ team was up 46-55.

The visitors expanded to their biggest lead (+10) with a little less than a minute left in the game, sealing another victory.

Yesterday, Panathinaikos made a short work of Kimi away from home.
