EA7 Emporio Armani Milano remains on top of Legabasket standings, but lost one more game, this time on the road by Enel Brindisi.

The team that signed two days ago former Milano big man Samardo Samuels got the close 70-68 win. Milano‘s captain Andrea Cinciarini with a big three tied the score at 68 in th last second, but the hosts closed the game the right way.

Samuels had 9 points, Phil Goss was the top scorer of the winners with 16 points and Robert Lawrence Carter had 14. For the defending champs Milan Macvan with 11 points was the only player who scored in double digits.

Milano remains first with a 21-6 record, while Brindisi (13-14) is trying to enter the playoffs. Venezia remains second (18-9) after the road win against Brescia, while Avelino is third (17-10), followed by Sassari (16-10).
