After finding themselves trailing 0-2 in the Italian League semifinal series vs Trento, the defending champs struck back with an emphatic performance and a win on the road.

With Davide Pascolo, a former Trento player, leading the charge, Olimpia Milano beat its opponents 87 – 66, notching its first victory in the series.

It was a match of crucial importance for the “Red Shoes” that were down 0-2 after losing two consecutive games at home. Thanks to Pascolo (17 points, 5 rebounds), Ricky Hickman (16 points, 4 assists) and Milan Macvan (12 points), the champs reacted well enough to take what they wanted perhaps easier than expected, given how their previous lackluster performances.

Trento fell behind 11 – 21 in the first period and was constantly trailing for the remainder of the match. Dustin Hogue had 16 points plus 6 rebounds and Diego Flaccadori 14 points along with 6 boards.
