With the talks between the Knicks and the Bulls never materializing into a trade involving Ricky Rubio, Joffrey Lauvergne going to the Bulls while Taj Gibson goes to OKC and former Barcelona point guard Marcelo Huertas leaving the Lakers are the two big euro-centric moves. are the only moves that have European interest.
The rest of the major moves are the following
- The Suns acquired Mike Scott from the Hawks in exchange for a protected second-round pick and cash
- The Rockets send K.J. McDaniels to the Nets for cash.
- The Rockets have acquired guard Lou Williams from the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for guard/forward Corey Brewer and the Rockets first round pick in the upcoming 2017 NBA Draft.
- The Nuggets acquired Roy Hibbert from the Bucks for a protected future second-round pick
- The Raptors send Jared Sullinger and two future second-round picks to Phoenix for PJ Tucker (photo).
- The Sixers send Nerlens Noel to the Mavericks for Andrew Bogut, Justin Anderson and a top-18 protected first-round pick
